About Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a system of health care and treatment which addresses disease and creates wellness by balancing the body's energy. While the exact mechanism of its effects is not yet explained by a scientific paradigm, acupuncture has been shown in clinical settings to effectively address a number of conditions. In her practice, Andrea has, in particular, had success with stress related issues, pain, hormonal imbalances and women's and reproductive health issues.

The World Health Organization recognizes the benefit of acupuncture treatment for a variety of conditions, including:
